Taking over the Mediterranean coast, One City at a Time
Drive around the Mediterranean coast, by taking off from one of Spain’s hubs : Barcelona.
Explore the big city for 3 days, then drive up north, passing by Empuriabrava, cross the boarder and have a break in France’s coastal town: Sète.
You can then continue to Marseille, for a total drive of 4 hours 45, where you will stay 3 nights.
Once you’ve strolled on the Vieux Port, pack up and head for the colourful little Menthon (2h30 away), passing by Saint-Tropez.
During your 4 day stay, in the outskirts of Menthon, you’ll be able to visit: Monaco, Cannes and other southern gems.
After your stay in the southern part of the Hexagon , you will drive an hour to beautiful Italie and stay in Finale Ligure, for a night and then go to Pisa, for another 2 and a half hours drive, where you’ll spend your last 3 nights.
Sight-seeing
Around Barcelona (Spain)
Wonder around the beautiful Catalan architecture. Stroll in the Parc Güell. If you pass by the Gothic Quarter before heading to Passeig de Gràcia, and ending your walk at the Sagrada Familia, it will give you a great overview of how the city’s architecture evolved from the Middle Ages to the modern era.
Marseille (France)
Take a walk along the Vieux Port to enjoy the fresh Mediterranean breeze, before exploring the vibrant and colourful neighbourhood of Le Panier.
French Riviera
Find a quiet hidden beachside, enjoy the cristal clear water whilst enjoying a picnic or viewing the sunset, away from all the tourists.
Monaco
When in Monaco, you should go the Fairmont Hairpin and view where the F1 cars navigate during the Grand Prix, as well as the Casino Square where you can enjoy the postcard view.
Italian Coast
On the way from San Remo to Pisa, you’ll find lots of different colourful towns. The one I wouldn’t miss is Portovenere. A historical, coastal village, similar to the famous Cinque Terra, yet away from all the tourists.
Food spots
Tapas are made for sharing and bringing people together. But no trip to Spain is complete without savoring a traditional paella straight from its homeland.
Have you ever had freshly caught fish, right into your plate. Well let me tell you that even if you have, eating traditional food from Marseille, in this hidden, pied-dans-l’eau restaurant you will get a whole new experience !

If you’re passing by Monaco this is the place to go : Crêperie du Roch
And if you’re willing to enjoy an exclusive restaurant in Monaco:
Wherever you are on the road from San Remo all the way to Pisa, stop in a restaurant specialising in wood-fired pizzas
